Biography
Dr. Marc A. Fiorillo is a recognized Board Certified Internist and Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist, licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey. Dr. Fiorillo is specialized in endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA), which is an innovative, minimally invasive procedure that can be used to evaluate gastrointestinal and lung diseases. Currently, he is also performing fecal microbial transplantation procedures for eradication of recurrent or refractory C. difficile infection.
Dr. Fiorillo earned his Bachelor’s Degree with honors from Binghamton University in New York and his Doctorate in Medicine with honors from Chicago Medical School. He also holds a Master's Degree in Pathology. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, where he received the Outstanding Fellow of the Year/Excellence in Teaching Award in 2006 and served a year as Chief Medical Resident.
In 2008, Dr. Fiorillo joined Advanced Gastroenterology of Bergen County, in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. He served as President of the New Jersey Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Society from 2011-2012. He maintains current memberships in several of the major societal organizations in his field and prides himself on keeping up to date with the latest advancements in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
